What is Profhilo?
Profhilo is a thin, hyaluronic acid-based filler. Unlike regular dermal fillers, which create volume in the face, Prohilo does not add volume. Instead it spreads out under the skin, stimulating hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastane production.

The effects of Profhilo include tightening the skin, hydrating the skin, and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Profhilo leaves the skin glowing and youthful.

Profhilo treatment
Profhilo for face is injected a 5 points on each side of the face. The product is injected locally, just under the skin, making it extremely safe.

Profhilo for body is used to target areas of skin laxity, creating a tighter, glowing complexion. It is a weight-loss treatment, but a treatment that improves skin quality.

For optimal results, 2 initial sessions are required, 1 month apart. Following this, repeat sessions are required every 6 months.

The process
Before treatment
At your consultation, your face will be assessed and Dr Horlick will recommend a treatment plan based on this. A consent form will be completed and before photos taken. You will now be ready for your treatment.
During treatment
Your face will be cleaned, local anaesthetic cream applied to injection points, which will be marked and then the product injected. The marks will be cleaned off and your treatment will be complete.
After treatment
You will be advised of the aftercare instructions. A top-up appointment will be booked if required.
Results
You can expect to see your results 2 weeks after your 2nd treatment. Results last for 6 months following your initial 2 sessions.
