About Dr Serena Horlick
Dr Serena Horlick graduated from University College London in 2013, with a first class honours degree in Biomedical Science. She then went on to study medicine at University College London from 2013-2018. After graduating, she started working full-time as an NHS doctor.
She was always interested in facial aesthetics, being fascinated by how strategically placed anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers can change the contours of the face, creating beautiful, natural results. She completed her foundation and advanced qualifications in anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers in 2019, and has been practicing aesthetics alongside her NHS surgical work ever since.

She now has over 5 years experience in facial aesthetics and this, along with the completion of numerous advanced training courses, has made her a skilled aesthetic practitioner with a wealth of knowledge.

Dr Horlick provides a holistic service to her patients, listening to their concerns and desires before creating their bespoke treatment plans.
Education and training
2020-2021
King's College London University
Dr Horlick took a year out of training to teach anatomy
to KCLU medical students. She completed her Postgraduate Certificate of Medical Education at the same time, allowing her to develop her teaching skills. She passed with merit.
2013-2018
University College London
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of surgery. Having completed obtained first class honours in her Biomedical Science degree, Dr Horlick embarked on a 5-year medical degree at UCL.
2010-2013
University College London
BSc Biomedical Science. Dr Horlick graduated from UCL in 2013, having received first class honours in her undergraduate Biomedical Science degree. She went on to start her medical degree at UCL the same year.
2018-2020
Foundation training
Foundation years of NHS training at The Royal Berkshire Hospital and Wexham Park Hospital. Here Dr Horlick rotated through a variety of medical and surgical specialties, gaining experience of different fields of medicine.
2021-2023
Core surgical training
Dr Horlick is now completing her core surgical training where she has rotated around different surgical specialties and intensive care. She is working in the South West London deanery.
2024-2030
Registrar training
Dr Horlick is due to start her orthopaedic registrar training In October 2024. She will be working in the South West London deanery.
